When a marketing and advertising agency in Boston, Comm Creative, reached out to Plaid Pony with a bold ask to pitch photographers and directors for an automobile campaign, we didn’t hesitate. The ponies were ready to run.

The Pony Story

Austin, TX became our open range for four full days of production as we paired the perfect photographer and director duo, allowing us to capture still and motion side by side for a robust, high-impact campaign.

To keep things agile and efficient, we ran a micro crew setup:
• 1 camera car
• 1 video village on wheels
• 1 picture car with our talent

This lean approach allowed us to move fast, pull permits throughout the city, and execute seamless car-to-car and beauty shoots from sunup to sundown, all while honoring a tight schedule and a massive creative vision.

The result? Incredible imagery and dynamic footage for an iconic brand we’re proud to partner with: Bose.

To bring this campaign to life, Plaid Pony hired photographer Steven Visneau and director Justin Schaefers, and they delivered in every way. Add in an unbelievable lineup of vehicles from Fiat, Porsche, Honda, Infiniti, to Cadillac, and a stellar crew, you have a production that truly roared.

Big ideas. Tight timelines. Huge asks.
The ponies showed up, ran hard, and crossed the finish line strong.
