WHAT WAS A PIVOTAL MOMENT FOR YOUR CAREER?
I feel it wasn't one exact moment. I think it was a slow, yet SHARP turn into going off on my own as a stylist, I have been fortunate to work with some of the most talented stylists and teams in the industry that really pushed me to see what I was capable of. I am my biggest critic, I don't think I have hit my moment yet.
WHAT WAS ONE OF THE PROUDEST MOMENTS OF YOUR CAREER?
Going off on my own after 10 years of assisting, building relationships with brands and clients is such a rewarding feeling when each job/day is done.
What are some other things you enjoy when you aren’t shooting?
Other than traveling to places I have never been and meeting new people, I love being back in my home state of California, I make olive oil with my family on their farm on the central coast.( @centralcoastfamilyfarm ) We had our first harvest this past fall (2015) so we are very much in the beginning/exciting stages! I take care of branding, sales and marketing (still a work in progress) but, definitely a big passion of mine right now, and coolest bit is I get to do it with my family.
What is your favorite part about being on set?
The energy and creativity, HANDS DOWN. Anything can happen at any moment, the good, the bad and the ugly, but everything always works out, so I have myself a laugh and keep trucking through the process. It is addicting. :)
What does #createmoments mean to you?
Working together with your favorite team to create something timeless.
What is one thing your fans may not know about you?
Do I have fans?
What advice can you provide for future Stylists?
Ask questions when you want to learn and listen carefully. Anything is possible, it is a total cliché, but as long as you want something all possibilities are endless.
