WHAT WAS A PIVOTAL MOMENT FOR YOUR CAREER?
When I realized it could be a career. I did hair in high school and college as a job to get me through. In this time I traveled and worked extensively in Europe, doing shows and shoots and began to understand this could be a real job.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SET TO WORK ON? WHY?
I loved working with Levi's. They had a variety of unique locations, places that I would never have access to.
WHAT ARE SOME OTHER THINGS YOU ENJOY WHEN YOU AREN’T SHOOTING?
Natural horsemanship training, grooming horses, and...Zumba ;)
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING ON SET?
Meeting and connecting with new people.
MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I always have excitement and anxiety around a new project. It can be uncomfortable, but I'm glad to know I'm not bored.
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR PROUDEST MOMENTS IN YOUR CAREER?
Having my parents be in the audience of 800 people while I was on stage styling hair for a major hair/beauty show.
What does #createmoments mean to you?
It is capturing those special moments in life in a way that we are able to share with others.
What advice can you provide for future Hair & Makeup artists?
Always be a learner, you don't want to become dull and lose your creativity. Take classes and be a student outside of your hair/mu passion.
